Ride the route you planned, without touching your phone
RouteHold delivers what apps like MyRouteApp Mobile promise. It's a navigation app for motorcyclists who plan their rides in advance, on iPhone and Android. Import the route you built in your planner and RouteHold rides it exactly: the same roads, the same waypoints, in the order you set, spoken turn by turn through your helmet. Once it is downloaded, it works with nothing but a GPS signal, the same ride every time.

Your planner ends where the ride begins
A rider plans a route in a tool such as MyRouteApp, exports it, and expects the phone to follow it turn by turn, through every waypoint, in order. Most navigation apps break that expectation. Many keep only your waypoints and work out their own way between them, so you ride roads you never chose. Others stop to ask: a confirmation dialogue at every intermediate point, or a tap on each waypoint. The result is an app that either rewrites your ride or asks you to reach for the screen at the exact moment you are least able to.
RouteHold is built around one idea. Once the ride starts, the only thing you do is ride.
Built for the road, not the screen
Everything works toward a single goal: the ride you planned, followed exactly, with your hands on the bars and your eyes on the road.
Rides your exact route, not an app's version of it
This is the heart of RouteHold. Other apps keep only your waypoints and calculate their own roads between them, so you end up somewhere near your plan rather than on it. RouteHold follows the exact route you imported: every road and every turn, in the order you set, spoken to you turn by turn. It won't chase live traffic or quietly reroute you, and if you leave the line it guides you back. It does exactly what you told it, and nothing you didn't: the ride you planned, the same way, every time.
Runs great on older phones
You don't need the latest flagship. RouteHold is built to run reliably on older, budget hardware, and it holds itself to no more than a tenth of your phone's memory. We actively test on genuinely old devices, a 2020 Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro and a 2019 iPhone 11, with repeated multi-day simulated rides to prove it stays rock solid from the first turn to the last. If your phone still gets updates, RouteHold should run well on it.
Silent waypoint progression
As you reach each waypoint, RouteHold moves on to the next by itself. Nothing appears on the screen to dismiss, and nothing waits for a tap, so you keep both hands on the bars and your eyes on the road while the voice carries you through to the end.
Stop points and shaping points
Mark a waypoint as a stop point, such as a café or a fuel stop, and RouteHold holds you there and keeps guiding you back until you choose to move on. Leave a waypoint as a shaping point and the app passes through it, or skips it if you miss it. You decide which is which before you set off.
Voice guidance through your helmet
Spoken turn instructions play through the phone's audio, so a Bluetooth helmet communicator picks them up with no extra setup. The voice is produced on the device itself, so it keeps working even where there is no mobile signal.
Fully offline. All it needs is GPS.
Before you leave home, RouteHold stores everything for the ride on the phone: the map, your route, every waypoint, and the turn-by-turn directions. The spoken guidance is generated on the device using your phone's own text-to-speech, so once a route is downloaded it needs nothing but a GPS signal: no mobile data, no coverage, no dead spots. Downloads begin automatically on Wi-Fi, and a manage screen lets you keep or remove stored routes to reclaim space.
Made for the handlebars
Designed for a phone mounted on the bars. The controls are large enough to use in winter gloves, and the actions that matter take a deliberate press rather than an accidental swipe. The map follows the sun: light through the day, dark after sunset, so it reads well from morning ride to evening return. The screen stays awake for the whole ride.
On CarPlay and Android Auto
Connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and RouteHold shows your route and turn-by-turn guidance on the display. It's the same exact-route navigation, now on the screen built into your setup, so it fits right in if you run a CarPlay or Android Auto display on the bike.
Quiet by design
RouteHold posts no notifications and asks for only the permissions it needs to navigate. It stays out of the way, keeping your attention where it belongs: on the road ahead.
